Relato Corto Blog Fiction

Hello world!

H

Welcome to my blog, fellow fiction enthusiasts. My name is Sebastian, and over the years, I’ve come to realize that I talk too much. Don’t get me wrong, I love giving speeches to a captivated audience and seeing their reactions to my stories. But as we all know, the reach of spoken word can be limited.

A few years ago, I embarked on a journey to study psychology. It was an adventure filled with thrills and emotions, but it led to an unexpected discovery that I simply had to share with the world. And so, I decided to pursue a career as an author. I believed that my discovery would benefit society, but in reality, it was my passion for writing that drove me forward.

Now, I must admit that I am not a natural-born writer, and it takes me great dedication to hit my targets. I am well aware of the common advice to never finish what you start, but I believe that when something is truly finished, you just know it.

Growing up in Ecuador, I was raised to believe that I could only excel in math, and indeed, critical thinking has always been a strong suit of mine. But I now see the world as a multifaceted place beyond just numbers, and I have become a jack of all trades, though perhaps a master of none. Regardless, I love doing what I love.

As I continue on this journey, I hope to mature as a writer, and I promise to put in the necessary effort to edit my work before publishing it. But if I miss something here or there, please forgive me in advance.

I hope to see you again soon, and in the meantime, please feel free to check out one of my latest works of fiction on Relato Corto. Thank you for stopping by!

I just created mine, and much content is in the works. I also love Psychology, while I get creative in writing poems and short stories. I really am a beginner right now, but we all start somewhere!

    • Hello Ella, I’m very happy to know that you’re starting with a blog. The journey is beautiful, full of ups and downs, but that makes life more enjoyable. Keep going, and if you want you can come to my blog for some inspiration.

  • haha! I liked the advance apology. It made me laugh. It was an indication to me that I am immature even after getting so old:(

I liked these lines in your post – “The problem with speaking was its limited audience”. “but in essence you know when something comes to an end”.

Lucky are the ones who find right audiences! Good luck! I realize my comment has come to an end! 🙂

  • I know this is an old post, but I do like the thought – to choose a proper path. We are often told to find our path, but we hear little about being wise with the quality of the path we choose.

  • Hi, Sebastian! I’m immensely grateful to know how you started. Like you, I regard myself as an ordinary guy. However, humans can also turn out into superheroes. In other words, ordinary men can live extraordinarily. Gladly, you’re one of them. I believe in you. By the way, thank you for taking time to like my post recently. It really means so much to me as I am beginner on this blogging site. Stay safe there. Greetings from Cebu, Philippines.

  • Hi Sebastian!
Thank you for leaving the ‘like’ at sabrams.net related to my novel, RUMORS.
I have just cleared the decks for producing content for my radio shows, Travel WITH Stephanie Abrams, thru the end of January so I now have much more time over the next 7 weeks to devote to (1) finishing my first travel guide, “1001 Reasons to Visit Ireland,” and (2) to making major inroads into finishing the writing and editing of the sequel to RUMORS which is called SECRET . . . and everyone has at least one!
Did you read RUMORS? Or were you just impressed with the page at sabrams.net that describes the storyline? I really hope you read it as it truly gets amazing reviews which seem to follow the following theme/key words: fast paced, couldn’t put it down, full of twists and turns, never saw the ending coming. . . and it goes on and on along those lines. If you read ebooks, RUMORS is a real bargain and it’s available at Amazon worldwide and other online book sellers. If you read it, please post your review at Amazon and at sabrams.net. Would so love to hear your thoughts. Wishing you every happiness at this holiday season and a very special 2022!
    Best,
    Stephanie Abrams
